Senior Consulting Psychiatrist & Neuro-Physician. Honorary Physician to the President of India National Professor of Psychiatry & Neuro-Sciences.

Dr. P. B. Buckshey is a senior consulting Psychiatrist & Neuro-Physician.

Born in July 7, 1926, he did his MBBS from Gwalior in 1952. He has 40 years of experience in the specialities of Pyschiatry & Neurology in very responsible capacities in India and abroad, which is in various fields-Clinical, Teaching, Research, Administration & Consultation practice etc.

Dr. Buckshey, held prestigious posts in the different hospitals of Delhi & was Assistant Director General of Health Services (Medical Education), Government of India, New Delhi. He was examine and interviewed candidates for permanent commission in the Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps., and various other institutions of India.

Dr. Buckshey attend ed various National/International Conferences, Study, Tours etc. & organised several meetings, seminars & functions.

Dr. Buckshey was granted Colombo Plan Fellowship by U.K.Govt. He was Hon.Physician to three Presidents of India. He is recipient of many awards, which include Shiromani Award for outstanding achivements in Psychiatry and Neurology, Eminent Citizen of India Award 1994, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award 1994 for outstanding achivements in Pyschiatry & Neurology, Ati Param Visisht Chikitsa Medal 1997 etc.

Dr. Buckshey was honoured with Padma Shri-National Presidential Republic Day Award.
